Neighborhood development presents social, cultural, and financial challenges that influence policy, land use patterns, and real estate values. This track is designed for both public and private sector contributors who seek to participate in deep peer-to-peer discussions and trainings to explore the following questions: Who is managing the assets in my community? What is the best use and strategy for property? How does this impact my neighborhood economically and culturally? How can I measure neighborhood change and tell a comprehensive story about my community? Practitioners from across the country will incorporate strategies learned from the neighborhood planning and development process and explore what new trends and policies are shaping the industry.
