Nancy Stark is Senior Manager of Community Development Banking at Capital One. Nancy manages Capital One’s philanthropic relationships with nonprofit asset-building and small business development organizations across the U.S. Through grants, loans and pro bono support from Capital One, such organizations help low-income individuals to establish and/or build credit and to start and/or grow businesses across the country. Previously, Nancy managed similar relationships with nonprofits in the Mid-Atlantic region. Nancy has a 38-year tenure in the community and economic development field. Before coming to Capital One, she directed Enterprise & Economic Development at the Corporation for Enterprise Development (CFED) in Washington, DC. Nancy’s previous affiliations include The Aspen Institute, the Rural Policy Research Institute, the National Center for Small Communities, International City Management Association and The Arc. She holds a M.S. in Public Financial Management from The American University and a B.S. in Community Organizing and Public Policy from Cornell University.
