Rob Kostas joined The Resurrection Project in June, 2014. In his current role as Director of Small Business Development, Rob is developing a lending program and managing the technical assistance programs for small business owners. Rob has over a decade of community development experience. Before joining The Resurrection Project, he was managing the Underwriting Department at Accion, the largest micro-lender in the country. There Rob led efforts to expand the portfolio in the midst of the recession while cutting delinquency in half. He personally reviewed and approved over $8 million in microloans to small business owners, and created innovative products to reach greater numbers of lower- and moderate-income clients. He holds B.S. in Business Economics and Public Policy, Computer Information Systems, and International Studies from Indiana University, and is fluent in Spanish.
